Dumako naman tayo sa Southern Cagayan... 

Sabi nga nila, as a Christian, always start your day with a prayer. Kaya heto ako, inuna ko ang pagbisita sa Our Lady of Piat Church - one of the famous churches of the North na binibisita ng mga pilgrims. (Anong konek sa first statement? Paki-relate please.) Ang Municipality ng Piat, which is located at the Western part of Southern Cagayan Valley, ay approximately 1.5 - 2 hours away from Tuguegarao City. To get here, just ride a public utility van sa Shell parkingan at Ugac Highway, Tuguegarao City. Usually "shell parkingan" is understandable already sa mga tricycle drivers. :) 

Noong huling beses na nagpunta ako rito, nasa Php100 ang pamasahe sa van going to Piat, from Tuguegarao City.

Kadalasan, sa loob ng isang church, common na design sa cathedral glass ang Stations of the Cross. I find the church unique, kasi instead na Stations of the Cross ang design, 'yung history ng Our Lady of Piat image ang mga nasa cathedral glasses. Kaso nga lang, dahil sumaglit lang ako roon, at sa dami nila, isang design lang ang nakuhanan ko ng litrato... :(

Noong nagpunta ako rito upang magsimba at mag-picture, saktong Christmas season noon kaya I grabbed the chance na ma-picture-ran ang Belen. One of the best and most crowded Belen designs na nakita ko... ^_^

Sa mga Manileñong katulad ko, maaari nating masabi na halos pareho ang Our Lady of Piat sa Image ng Antipolo Church na Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage. Dahil madalas galing sa malalayong lugar ang mga nagpi-pilgrimage papunta sa Piat, nagiging patron din siya ng travelers. Similarly, may stairs din papunta sa rear ng Image ng Our Lady of Piat na open for public's touch. Sa mga Katoliko kasi, isang kaugalian ang paghimas sa imahe at magsa-sign of the Cross pagkatapos bilang pagbibigay-galang sa imahe. At ang karamihan din, naniniwala na source of miracle ang mga Blessed Image tulad nito. Pero para sa akin, ang pananampalataya pa rin sa Maykapal ang primary source ng mga himala sa buhay... ^_^

Masaya ako, bilang isang Kristiyano, na nabigyan ako ng energy ni Lord upang mabisita ang Basilica Minore of Our Lady of Piat. Despite its distance from Manila, still I was able to see the beauty of this church and on my part, isa itong fulfillment/achievement... ^_^
